Monthly Mind Power Questions & Answers

June 2005

Q I have purchased your book, "Mind Power," and been somewhat practicing visualization. I have been practicing lately and the results are what I have been dreaming of. However, the problem is that after achieving my goal, I sort of lost my drive to achieve (so to speak), I feel that my energy has dissipated, and I do not know why. This is the third time that this has happened. Why does my mind, after accomplishing a goal, completely lose its energy? I have a theory, but I would like to hear yours. Thank you.

A Congratulations on achieving your goals working with Mind Powers. Once one has reached a level of proficiency with Mind Powers, it brings with it new challenges and new goals. You have just experienced what is very common with Mind Power students; I call it "coasting." Coasting means that you do the techniques daily and consistently and you get the results and the results are so great and so wonderful and so abundant that you begin to coast on your success. In fact, you feel that you're getting so much success that you don't have to do your exercises anymore. And when you don't do your exercises anymore you still get results for a while, but only because you're just coasting on the momentum you've built up. And then the momentum stops. And when the momentum stops, you suddenly think, "Gee, why aren't things happening for me anymore?"

This is one of the reasons that I suggest that you keep a daily diary to record when you're doing your exercises and when you're not. And what you'll find is that whenever your life is not working, when you're having problems, you can go to your daily journal and say, "Have I been doing my exercises each and every day?" And you'll undoubtedly find that you haven't.

So just be aware that it is a natural momentum of the mind to coast on it's success, and what you have to do is just start up the exercises again. One thing you have on your side is that you have done this now three different times and you have achieved your goals three different times, so that you know that Mind Power works. Congratulations.

Q I've been a fan of you and your work for about a year and a half now, and as a fifteen-year-old boy I feel very blessed to discover Mind Powers at such a young age. I have one idea that really excites me for your website: I think you should have a section for success stories! People could send in their stories of success using Mind Powers, and others could gain confidence and faith in Mind Powers by reading them. The reason that I make this suggestion is that I know many people have trouble believing in Mind Powers at first - I even do every once and a while. I read all the Questions and Answers on your page, the Monthly Topics, and even the Good News Stories, but I often still feel the need for proof of the powers I have. I think it will be very positive and helpful if you post success stories from 'regular' human beings. Thanks so much John I'm four weeks away from seeing my Mind Power work pay off.

A My books and tapes are filled with stories of "regular human beings" who have used Mind Powers and achieved results. When I do my live seminars most if not all the people see results, and we get lots of stories. It's incredibly inspiring to hear the stories, and the room often goes electric with energy as people "get it" that it works.

However, with this Website people for some reason seem reluctant to send me their stories. This Website is four years old this month. It has grown consistently to where we now have approximately ten thousand people a month who log on to the Topic of the Month and the Questions and Answers.

I would love to post their stories, so here I will throw it back to my readers. If you want to see more success stories then you must send them in. Your name and details will be kept confidential and it will be a wonderful addition to the site. If I receive enough stories I will make it a new feature. Thanks for your suggestions; now it's up to you readers to respond.
