Monthly Mind Power Questions & Answers

Q

Mind Power Into the 21st Century was the first way I was introduced to Mind Power; it is the best by far, and I have been searching for the past three years. There is nothing better than it on the market.

I find myself in a weird place at the moment, because everything I have is because of what I've learnt in Mind Power Into the 21st Century, I co-own a factory and I'm doing pretty well in comparison to where I was 2 1/2 years ago. But now the economic climate has influenced the growth of the business and every month is kind of a gamble. I have started recently to do the Mind Power techniques again, and I want to triple my current income, but with another business. I don't have a specific one in mind, but know it will come my way. So the first question is: How long can I expect to wait if I do everything according to the book? And the second question: I find myself believing that I can really become very wealthy; I have no problem in believing it or visualising it, I just sometimes think, "But can this really work at such a level. Yes, I tripled my income once, but can I do it again and again? Is this reality?" And if your answer is YES then I can't wait, because it is so amazing to think that you can do this so easily and quickly.

A

You have already used it once with success; why wouldn't you be able to use it again? How long it will take depends on many variables, but you will manifest success if you are clear on what you want, consistently practice the techniques, and act daily in a meaningful way to create it. It is to the last part of your question that I want to speak. Who said it will happen "so easily and quickly"? Mind Power is not a magic wand that you wave in the air and all your desires suddenly happen. Mind Power works with the most powerful energies of the universe in shaping and attracting to us the situations we project for, but we also have to work for it. In business this means being creative, innovative, proactive and attending to the hundreds and thousands of details that come up in running a successful business. Mind Power by itself will not make you wealthy. You will have to commit yourself to the task, and work for it.

Q

Hi John, My name is Neal and I'm from Vancouver. I read your book when I was 44-years-old, and reading it made me feel positive about myself, so I decided to get in better shape. Well, 7 years later I am now 3-time western all natural Canadian Champion, and I came 2nd in the world in 2005, thanks to you.

Thanks for sharing your success. Your story acts as an inspiration to all who are reading this website. One of my favourite sayings is, "My success helps many people. My failure helps no one." Congratulations on your success.

Q

Dear Sir, I am having a problem that I don't understand. Whenever I use my Mind Power for something, it doesn't seem to work. I keep on trying, keep on visualising it, but nothing happens. After some time I get tired of it and consciously try to convince myself that it's all useless, it won't happen. Then it suddenly appears in a day or two. For example, I tried to send out messages to a friend to call me, then when I thought it's not working, I received the call. Can you explain what's happening?

A

This happens sometimes, and I must admit it surprised me when some individuals brought it to my attention, because with most people Mind Power works by doing the practices as I outline them. However, in some situations people very diligently do their exercises and do not see results, and then they stop doing the exercises and the thing they were projecting for happens. The reason for this is that if you do the exercises with a desperation that it absolutely has to work and you are very stressed in the process, this can hold back the results. Then when you take the stress away, it allows the energy to work. You don't have to "convince yourself" that it will work. Just do the exercises and let the process work naturally. That is why I always suggest that you do the exercises with ease and fun. Don't stress about it. Relax and make the exercises an enjoyable experience. You will get more effective results this way.

Q

On the tape Attracting a Fabulous Relationship for Men, one of the affirmations is, "I am attracting an ideal partner." I was wondering if it should read, "I have attracted my ideal partner," which would make it to be more in the present tense.

A

There are two schools of thought about affirmations. One says you must say them in the present, the other that they can be a future tense. I have found that both methods work, and so it is just a matter of preference. When you repeat, "I am attracting an ideal partner," you are in fact using both methods. The attracting part is happening now. Your partner has not yet revealed herself to you, but the attracting forces are in motion, and she is already on her way, much like a parcel from Fed Ex that has been sent and is in transit but not arrived yet. This is a very powerful way to do affirmations. Sometimes when we say the affirmation as an already happened event, the mind can say, "No it hasn't." But the mind can't argue that the process is not in motion, or that delivery could not happen today or tomorrow. Choose the methods that feel most natural for you. Q

Hello John. I came upon one of your books quite by chance, but now I am very interested in the methods described. I haven't had much success with relationships so far, though both of them were happy, and I wouldn't say I had negative thoughts about them. Now I would like to mentally move on and find a new partner, since I know I can do nothing to have my past love back. However, when trying to vizualize the ideal partner, I always see the guy I used to date. Is this going to prevent me from finding another one? I should say it has always been very diffucult for me to meet someone. I always trust my instincts and feelings when it comes to relationships; that is why I have had just two. But even though my relationships were very happy, and I think they helped me grow as a person, the disappointment and frustration have made me lack confidence in myself and my belief that I will find the right person. And when I am trying to seed my thoughts I find it very hard to actually feel the love I long for. How can I make myself project better in my thoughts?

A

I have picked your question because it reflects a situation that many of us encounter, and not only in relationships; namely, we fail to acknowledge ourselves and focus more on our shortcomings than our successes. You say you have "only" had two relationships. Why focus on the "only"? Another way to frame this in your mind is, "I have had two happy relationships." Remind yourself of this again and again. If you have had two happy relationships, undoubtedly another is on the way, especially working with Mind Power. Having had two successful relationships, you can remember how it was at each stage of the relationship. Visualize the excitement of being in a new relationship. When your thoughts drift to your ex-partner say to yourself, "No not him, but someone like him and even better." Focus on the qualities you want in this new man. And most importantly focus on what you have to give in the relationship - all your positive qualities and why someone would be lucky to be with you. Practice these techniques and acknowledge yourself daily for your success in past relationships. Some people have never had even one good relationship; you have had two. This is something to acknowledge and feel proud about. When you do this, you build up a success vibration, and this assists you as well.

Q

Hi, John! I read one of your books several months ago and I got really interested in Mind Power. I started to use some of the techniques, and if I exersise regularly, I can see the effect. My question is the following: When we are ill, have the flu, suffer a headache or something like that, can we do anything in order to feel better immediately, or is the only way the prevention of diseases?

A

Nice to hear from my readers in Bulgaria. I am aware that Mind Power into the 21st Century is very popular in your country, and this pleases me immensely. Mind Power can be used to both prevent disease and to assist us in healing ourselves when we are ill with something. There are no instantaneous cures when using these techniques; however often in using affirmations or visualizations while we are sick, we feel better after the exercises as a result of focusing our attention away from what is bothering us and onto something more positive. Also your thoughts create a vibration of energy, which acts as a healing energy, and this makes us feel better too.
