Learn Mind Power - Questions & Answers

Q:

Wow! Wow! Wow! Your book is lovely. I just got it this week, but it's like I have had it for years. We really appreciate people like you. You are an inspiration. Mr. Kehoe may God richly bless you and your family. I like the fact that you supported some of your facts with the Word of God. Thank you very much.

A:

All of the great religions teach some type of Mind Power, though they might not call it by that name. I also like to support all the scientific findings with different spiritual perspectives as well. It gives us another perspective to understand what we are doing and why it is so powerful.

Q:

I've been training according to your program for a couple of months, mostly using the affirmations. Recently I've read a short book by Emile Coué and his method, where he centers on the particular mantra-like affirmation, "Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better." Coué stresses that there is no need to specify the goal, because the expression "in every way" relates to all the aspects in life. I would greatly appreciate your comment on this. Thank you!

A:

With all Mind Power goals you can have a specific goal like closing an important business deal or loosing 20 pounds, and a general goal such as being incredibly successful or abundantly healthy. They can, in fact, work well together. Emile Coué uses a general affirmation to cover many possibilities and has had great success with it. Use whatever feels comfortable for you, specific, general or a combination of the two. Each method works in its own way.

Q:

Thank you for the life-changing training.

Sir, should I first practice the 'contacting the subconcious mind' exercise for a few days, establish a relationship with the subconscious, and then start the other techniques, like visualization and seeding? Will that be a good idea to manifest more easily? Also, I tend to be more confident and comfortable with some of the techniques than others, like imprinting. Can I skip some, and do what I enjoy doing?

A:

The most important thing to remember with Mind Power is to do "something" daily. Choose the techniques where you feel most comfortable and use these to start with. As you continue in your training you will find the mind likes and enjoys diversity, so you can introduce some other techniques bit by bit. I suggest trying all the techniques for at least a week or two each before skipping them for good. Allow yourself to get the feel of how each works. Ultimately we all design our own system in a way that reflects our personal circumstances and our understanding of how this system works.

Q:

Hello John! I have read your book and I think it's just brilliant! It really opened my eyes and I recommend it to every person I meet. I would really like to use the book because I have a few things that I really need in my life. Right now I want to get a best friend, or a good friend, a person with whom I will be able to share good moments and my feelings, a person who will always be there for me. I do exactly what is said in the book - I'm always a positive person, I usually am and I was before I read the boo, I use the method of visualisation for about 5-10 minutes every day. But my question is how long will it take to get the thing that I want, and also if in some moments just for parts of the second I get doubts about whether it's really the thing I want, will that "harm" the process? Thank you for answering my question.

A:

Let me answer your questions: Firstly, it is normal to second guess yourself and have doubts on whether this will work or not. If and when these thoughts come to you just notice them, but do not give them any power by believing them or focusing on them. All negative thoughts get their power from our reaction to them. When we fail to react they have no power. So simply ignore them and move on. Secondly, you can never tell one hundred percent how long something will take to manifest. Sometimes it takes only days and other times weeks or even months. The only thing we know for sure is that if you practice these methods daily you attract the circumstances you want. This you can absolutely count on.

Q:

Hi Mr. Kehoe! First of all I'd like to thank you for your wonderful book Mind Power into the 21st Century! For me it is the best one of all the books that I've ever read about a person's mind and thoughts and their power in our life. It is so easy to read and understand and so inspiring! I must say that this book changed my life! I first read it 5 years ago and since then all my desires became true: I found an interesting and well-paid job, I met a man of my dreams, I gave birth to a wonderful child, I visited many countries, and that is just a few of the things I've achieved. I feel very happy and thankful for all the good things that happened to me after I discovered Mind Powers.

Now I have a new goal in my life (to follow my passion), but in order to achieve it I need to study a lot. The thing is that I don't have much time left for studying in my everyday life. The most effective time for me to study is late at night when my family is asleep. But the thing is that I have to get up early in the morning and I always feel sleepy and tired and have difficulty concentrating. Do you think it's possible to program my body using Mind Powers to sleep for only 5 hours a day and function well? (Usually I need to sleep for at least 8 hours to feel refreshed and energetic). Do you know if anyone has tried this and succeeded? I'd really appreciate your answer. Thank you.

A:

You have used Mind Power well in your life and I acknowledge you for that. You could try to reprogram your body to operate with less sleep, however I would advise trying to find different times to study and be effective while still getting a full night's sleep. Try the affirmation, "I study well in many different situations." Train yourself to study at times that presently are challenging you. As you now know, when the mind accepts possibilities it finds ways to manifest them. This way you can study and get a full night's sleep. Everything exists as a possibility in our lives.

Q:

Hi John. MayI take a moment to thank you, you have changed my life on so many levels and I live by your teachings on a daily basis. I work as a youth worker and I try to teach young people your principles. And so far you have changed the lives of many, many young people, but one young person asked a question that I had to think long and hard to answer. His question was this. "If we are responsible for everything that happens to us, then how can a 4-year-old child get cancer, or how can a child die of famine? My only response was that such matters were of the soul and God and had no bearing on the subconscious. But I'm struggling with this one. Your advice would be greatly appreciated as I feel my advocation of your principles is being questioned by my lack of understanding of such questions.

A:

No one fully understands these situations. One possible answer is reincarnation, whereby we all have many lives and different challenges in each. Another is that the group energy of the human species or the collective unconscious, to use a Jungian term, arbitrarily works with energy in ways we do not yet fully understand. Finally there is a mystery around every aspect of our life and no system is one hundred percent accurate in predicting what will happen to each of us, or at explaining why things happen to some people and not to others. This is the paradox and challenge that each of us faces in life and in our work with Mind Power. When in doubt always come back to the core foundation that everything is made up of energy and our life is always in relationship with us in ways we do not fully understand but can count on. Trust the system to work for YOU without having to have answers for everything that happens in the universe. Hope this makes sense to you.

Q:

Would it be okay to re-post your excellent postings to some of my blogs? I promise to put an excerpt and link back to your website.

A:

This site is a free resource for those wishing to understand and master Mind Power. By all means pass it on with links back to the website. The more people who can be introduced to this system the better, and I encourage you to share this information providing you credit the source.
