Q
Hello, Mr John Kehoe. I believe in your philosophy, but I can't follow it because I am so afraid of people. Therefore, I am uncommunicative. In my life I have been hurt many times. I am a very sensitive person. My first love was unrequited. The second too. Now I am 30 years old and living alone. I have no friends. People always hurt me, maybe because I feel weak and have no self-esteem. I feel I'm different. My life is work-rest. work-rest.... I am ambitious and hard-working, but my boss and the company don't see that. I have a university degree in management, but I don't work at that. Every day discourages me. What shall I do? I am afraid of men and people. Thank you for your attention!
A
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. You have allowed yourself to become weak through the way you think. When you change your thinking your life will change to reflect this. The first step is to stop blaming others or life for your situation, to take responsibility for your life and the way it is unfolding. Set for yourself some small but meaningful goals; perhaps attracting one friend who you can be close to. Use the acknowledging technique to build up your self-esteem. You say that you believe in my philosophy but cannot follow it. By telling yourself that you cannot follow it you reinforce this belief. Why would you do this? Change these negative beliefs about yourself and your capabilities into positive ones. This you can do through mind power. A new life is but a new mind. Do it! Read every article on this website and apply the techniques you read about. Or you can remain in your present situation. No one can do it for you. The choice is yours.
Q
Hi, My name is Lebo and I have just started using mind power, and to truly understand it. As a Christian, mind power sounds similar to the Bible. I love both books. How do I combine mind power and my Bible without losing the plot? I know it sounds stupid but can I use an affirmation starting with "In Jesus name ......" Can I combine both to work for me, and if so how?
A
You can combine both teachings, as they work together very well. The Bible is filled with mind power examples, though they are not referred to by that name. Take the scripture where Jesus says, "Whatsoever things ye desire, believing that ye have received it, you will receive it". Notice that you must first believe you have received it before it happens. That is pure mind power in action. Your Christian beliefs will be enhanced through mind power, and the two beliefs in no way contradict one another.
Q
Hi, My name is Ray. First I want to thank you for this life-changing information. I have read a lot of books about inner consciousness and self-realization, and your book (Mind Power into the 21st Century) is one of a kind. The information in it really resonnates within. My question to you is about affirmations. I'm fluent in English and I can understand it pretty well, though it is not my first language. So in my case, would affirmations be as effective in English as they would be in my first language? 'Cause I find them easier and simpler in English. And what effect does language have on the subconscious mind? How does it get interpreted and imprinted in the subconscious mind? Is it the meaning that matters, or the word itself? Thanks, best regards.
A
The subconscious picks up the meaning and vibration of what you are saying and not the words itself. Use the language you are most comfortable with, as this will be the most effective.
Q
I would like to thank you for the Mind Power Program. I have listened and studied many self-help programs, but yours is by far the best.
I am uncertain as to how to word and structure my goals and affirmations. I wish to earn a minimum of £100,000 this year (currently I earn about £30,000). My question is, should I affirm and visualize earning £100,000, or should I affirm and visualize doing the deals that will earn me £100,000?
A
This is an excellent question. You should include all aspects. Once you have established the goal you wish to achieve, which is to earn 100,000 pounds in a year, you harness all the Mind Power techniques to make it happen. You begin by affirming and visualizing it happening to you. You contemplate your connection to your subconscious and to the energy web. You look for opportunities that will actualize the goal and imagine yourself being successful within them. And most importantly, you act daily in a way that allows this goal to manifest. In mind power we don't just do inner exercises; we also work diligently in the hundred and one ways that make our goals happen. When we are very clear about what we want, practice mind power daily AND look for opportunities, acting upon them day by day, we are led to our goals. I look forward to hearing about your results.
Q
Hello Mr. Kehoe. I am Evelina from Switzerland, 20 years old. I really want to know if someone wishes for something very strongly, is it possible that their dreams come true? I am a person who really dreams of sometging special, but the people around me think that it is impossible. I know that maybe it is, but I can't stop believing. I believe in the impossible, but how to explain to another persons that I am not crazy? I am waithing for your answer and help.
A
Dreams come true all the time. Do not let others dissuade you from achieving what is important to you. Believe in yourself. Trust the system. Apply yourself to the exercises and watch synchronicity happen. What do you truly believe in your heart and soul? All goals are possible when you apply yourself, act and think in ways that attract those goals to you.
Q
John, I started doing the Home Study course just recently. LOVE your energy; your messages "land" so beautifully through your powerful voice. A couple of questions:
1. When I am contemplating on a statement such as "I am in possession of an immense instrument that is transforming my life now that I am learning how to use it", I get physical sensations in my back. Sometimes they're "hot & icy" sensations that feel very sweet and tingling and fun, and by the 5th minute those feelings turn into joyful emotions. Is contemplation supposed to produce such sensations?
2. When I try to get the feelings for "seeding", I have a hard time tapping into these feelings. It feels foggy. It seems like when I am not trying to activate emotions, it's happening, and when I focus on tapping into emotions and feelings, it doesn't. Any suggestions?
A
When we do contemplations we often feel the power of what we are contemplating. We don't just understand what we are contemplating but we feel it, and these feelings can come as physical sensations. This is entirely normal and indicates that you are reaching a deeper level of awareness.
When practicing the seeding technique we purposely work with feelings and try to replicate the feeling of having or doing what we desire to have in our life. FEELING it as a real time event. When you first start working with this technique sometimes the feelings will seem "foggy" or not real. However, with practice these feelings will be more authentic and real. It is just a matter of practice.
Q
I would like to know whether you have heard about the Bulgarian psychiatrist and psychotherapist Dr. Georgi Lozanov, who has dedicated his life to proving scientifically what you claim. Dr. Lozanov is now 84 and continues working in the field of education. Thank you for your time and consideration.
A
Yes, I am very aware of his work. His body of work was often referred to as Suggestopedia, which was later changed to Super Learning. He is a very brilliant and innovative thinker and one of the early pioneers in this field. I'm glad to hear he is still alive active and working. If you have any contact with him please pass on my best wishes.
