I have had so many lucky events happen in my life from using this technique. Practice gratitude 8. Challenge negative thoughts 1. Program your mind for luck One of my favorite ways to work with the energies of luck is to say "just my luck" whenever something good happens. My friend Jim and I first started using this expression half-jokingly when we sailed together on the straits of the Pacific Northwest in Canada. Whenever we had good weather and the wind was good and propelled us along, with big grins on our faces we would chime together: "Just our luck!" I then started using it in other areas of my life. Every time something good happened to me I would say, "Just my luck!" It became a habit, a ritual. And after a few months of doing this, something rather remarkable happened. I began thinking of myself as lucky, and as living a charmed life. Without even realizing what I was doing, I actually became what I was describing to myself. And now, as a result of having imprinted this empowering belief hundreds of times, I am a very lucky person. Unexpected lucky events happen to me all the time. So whenever something good happens to you, even if it's as small and insignificant as finding an empty parking spot, you say: "JUST MY LUCK!" The key is to remind yourself every day that you are lucky. Acknowledging the good luck in your life will help you vibrate the energy of luck and attract circumstances and things of similar energy into your life. 2. Be proactive Take the initiative to create opportunities for yourself by seeking out new experiences, and expanding your horizons. Put yourself out there and try new things. If you have a goal or dream, take steps towards it. Be proactive in seeking out opportunities that can help you reach your goals. Luck favours those who take action; fortune favours the bold. When you put yourself out there, you attract opportunities. You effectively tell the universe: "Hey, I'm here! Send more luck my way!" 3.
